This year we had a very uneventful (
compared to last year) pleasant Christmas. All day long I kept going back to where we were last year, staying in the hospital recovering from open heart surgery. When the doctor's came in early evening and told us we could go home and enjoy Christmas. I remember thinking that was the greatest present of all. Even this year it just seemed like a blessing to be home. I don't think Christmas will ever be the same for us. Brodie woke up this year to a tree full of presents, at first he didn't seem to care, until we unwrapped one and he discovered that they were toys. After that he was all about Christmas. His favorite present seems to be a mini
vacuum that Joe and I got him. He loves when I
vacuum, for the past couple of months he follows the
vacuum with a large ice scraper making his own
vacuum noise. So we know it would be a hit.
