Such a big boy

Brodie wants to be a big boy so bad, earlier this month Brodie started walking and now he is running. Now his new thing is that he tries to feed himself and he is getting pretty good with the fork.

Home Movie Theater

Yesterday when I was Black Friday shopping, I bought a home theater movie projector. So today we invited all the cousins over for pizza and a movie. The kids all voted on movies, and 101 Dalmatians won. It was a lot of fun and since the weather is so cold now we decided to make it a weekly date. So every Saturday this winter we are doing pizza and a movie with the cousins.

Thanksgiving and Black Friday

This year we had Thanksgiving at our place, we had lots of kids, lots of noise and lots of fun. Joe made a turkey for the kids to pin a gobble on. Then we cleaned the house and passed out, only to wake up at 3:30am to go shopping. I was at Kohl's at 3:45am, I have never seen so many crazy shoppers in my life. It was a long day, but I knocked out about 90% of my Christmas shopping.

Rain, Rain Go Away

The first thing that Brodie did when we got home from California, was check on his motorcycle. He missed that the most, unfortunately for him it has been raining non stop since Wednesday. Today was the first dry day we have had, so after lunch we went to the park.

Palm Desert

The last leg of our California trip was in Palm Desert with Jason and June. I wish we lived closer to you guys because we already miss you.

Granny

On Sunday we dropped Joe off at the airport and Brodie and I went down to Palm Desert with Jason to go see Granny (Brodie's great-great-grandma). Brodie was on his best behavior, and Granny ate up every second that we were there. She couldn't wait to take Brodie around the dinning room and show him off to everyone. I think Granny will be talking about Brodie's visit for months.

While we were in LA, we stayed with Trinity and Kyle. It was so nice to stay there and let the boys play together. Thanks Trin for letting us over take your house for three days, we miss you and love you.
