Luke Update

It's hard not to start cracking up when I try to describe Luke, he is the happiest, most easy going, funny kid I have ever met.  Everything he does, he does with a smile.  He knows exactly what he wants, and idolizes his big brother.  Pretty much the only thing that he doesn't like is baby food.  He loves real food and the more flavor the better.  It's really easy to tell when he likes some thing, because he claps right away (like he's saying, "Thank God, she finally gets it").  When he doesn't like something, he closes his eyes and his whole body shivers, (like that was disgusting).  So far his favorite food are, Benihana rice (big shocker), spaghetti bolenese, and french onion soup.  He is also getting pretty noisy.  He says Dada, Mama, Hi, Rooaarrr, and Meow.  He is such a joy to be around.

He crawls all over the place
But usually he is just hamming it up to get some laughs

The Florida Keys

Sunday night after the races, we packed up the kids and headed to the Keys. We wanted to take a few days to celebrate the great meet Joe had at Gulfstream and relax for a few days before we had to pack up and drive back to Delaware for the summer. We had such a great time there, on our drive home Brodie announced that when he is older he plans to live on vacation.

I asked Brodie what they did and he said "we chased them". I looked at Joe horrified and he told me "we only chased them for about twenty minutes then they got really mad". I told Brodie it was a good thing I was not with them because I would have been scared. He told me "It wasn't scary, it was cool".Luke had a permanent smile on his face the whole timeHe is the happiest, easiest baby ever. We are so Lucky

Easter

This year we had a really nice little Easter. Unfortunately Joe had to ride because it was closing day at Gulfstream park, so he missed the egg hunt. We went over to the Valez's house to spend Easter with them, and it was great because there were so many kids for Brodie to play with. He has an absolute blast.
