Three's Company

Jason left yesterday so now it's back to the three of us. We loved having Jason here, and I am glad that he got to spend so much time with Brodie. After we dropped Jason off at the airport, we went to a really fun restaurant called Joe's Crab Shack on the Wilmington waterfront. We walked down to the docks after dinner and watched some boats go by, Brodie loved it.

Dog, Dogs, and more Dogs

Jason flew in on Sunday, since then him and Brodie have been playing like crazy. My mom and her three dogs got here on Tuesday night. This morning we took the dogs on a four mile walk. Since bailey is not much of an exerciser, she hitched a ride in the basket of the stroller

Joe's Birthday was on the 19th. We had a nice day at the races, and then went to dinner with Jed and Jason (he flew in that day). The day before we spent at the park.

The Dog Whisperer

Brodie is absolutely in love with dogs, Last Friday we went to a BBQ at Jeremy's house and he had a really big dog. Brodie could not wait to get his hands on him.

My room

Brodie finally sleeps in his own room. I think that the transition has been tougher on me than him. I didn't want him to sleep in another room until all the artificial pieces were removed from his heart, because we were told by the doctors not to let him cry because the shunt could tear away. So now Brodie has made the trip down the hall to his own room. I also wanted to post this and Thank Mom, grandma Sue, grandma Nati, and Granny for the crib and dresser.

puppy dogs, glow sticks and fireworks

Brodie's new favorite holiday just might be the fourth of July. We went to the track all day, and then over to Joe's agent Kid's house for a BBQ. We thought that Brodie might fall asleep when we got there, but Kid has dogs so there was no way Brodie was going to miss any of that. Dogs are his current obsession. After staying at Kid's house for awhile we drove to downtown Newark for the fireworks show. We found a perfect spot and laid out our blanket. The family right next to us gave Brodie a Glow stick, which he decided to wave around and hit everything with. We weren't sure how Brodie would like the firework, because all day everyone was telling us how there kids got scared and cried the whole time. The first one shocked him a little, but after that the louder they got, the louder he cheered, He absolutely loved it.
