Before and After

In just a few short weeks we are going to be heading up to Saratoga for the meet.  Instead of trying to find an over priced short term rental, we decided to buy an RV to stay in for the six week meet.  Since buying the RV a month ago, I have been slowly tearing it apart and rebuilding it.  Today I finally finished it and now it feels like a brand new RV.  I am so happy with the way that everything turned out, that I thought I would share it with you.

31 is a lot of fun

This year for my 31st birthday Joe surprised me by renting a large pontoon boat on a nearby lake. He invited some of our good friends and we had a great day of tubing and swimming in the lake.  The only pictures that I wish we could have got were of Luke going down the slide.  This pontoon had a roof deck with a slide.  The slide was a four foot drop into the water.  Our little dare devil Luke loved it.  I caught him each time but he did dunk under a little each time.  It never scared him once.  I think someday we will look back at this time on the slide and say we should have know we were in trouble with this one.
Joe and the boys
Brodie didn't want to go swimming with us he just wanted to float on the water
Luke wouldn't stay out of the water, he loves swimming

trying to push away from me to swim on his own
Helping me swim back in
Brodie insisted that he was the Captain that day

All that swimming finally tuckered him out
me and Brodie tubing

Brodie kept telling us to floor it guys

Joe trying to see how long he could stay on it standing up
Brodie shocked us all when he said that he wanted to go back out by himself
Checking things out a little nervously
Now he's got the hang of it and is getting bored
Trying to do some showing off of his own hard to believe sometimes that he is only four

Busy, Busy, Busy

Hi everyone, sorry it's been so long.  I am sure you have been wondering what we are up to, the better question is what haven't we been doing.  Here is a little of what has been keeping me so busy that I don't update much anymore.

We made a really quick trip down to Delaware for Brodie's check ups with his Cardiologist.  Everything looked great and the doctors are just amazed by him.  While we were there we fit in as much cousin time as we could.  Here is Neeko, Brodie and Gabi Playing the Wii.
Piper and Luke
Gabi stayed with us in the hotel for a sleepover

Staying up late to watch cartoons
Even in a hotel there is room for a fort
On the way home our plane was delayed and the pilots let Brodie sit in their seat, push some buttons and use the intercom.  Pretty sure it was one of his favorite nights ever
My exhausted little travelers were wiped out the entire flight home
Luke has started using ABC Mouse and loves it
Max is continuing to grow at an alarming rate
My dad came in town for ten days to run a few horses and the boys loved helping him in the barn
Bringing carrots for the horses
Brodie cleaning stalls

trying to rake the shedrow

happy little barn rat

I feel so blessed that these two are such good friends

Max now up to 70 lbs.  he is only 7 1/2 months in this picture
Our gentle giant puts up with everything the boys do to him

The truth is he doesn't really put up with is, he loves it
We started a garden that is growing like crazy
Those cute baby geese have also been growing and now our yard looks like this
Luke has developed a crazy obsession for Toy Story.  Brodie says that now he is a big boys because only Big boys like Toy Story.  Sadly my baby doesn't seem much like a baby these days.
Max has also developed an obsession with swimming in our pond, this has led to daily baths.
