The Farm

After we went to Disney, Joe had to fly home. So Brodie and I drove up to Ocala for the rest of the week. Brodie has so much fun at the farm, all day he would run to the front door and say goigie oidie odie oye..outside. He talks all the time and most of it you can't understand, but outside is crystal clear. While we were in Ocala Cheyenne and her kids came up for a visit, Brodie had a blast running around with the kids especially Andy. Brodie followed him around the whole time they were there.

Every few minutes Brodie would disappear from my side and this is where I would find him, loving on the babies

Tampa

Well if your wondering why I haven't posted anything new for about a week, it's because we have been in Florida. Joe, Brodie and I flew down to Florida and stayed in Tampa for a few days. We also went to Disney World but you will have to wait on those pictures because my camera died so I had to use a disposable camera and I haven't taken them in yet to get printed.

The Goose Herder

Today we went to Carousel Park to feed the geese. However Brodie proved to be a much better Goose herder, than feeder. We tried to show him how to throw the bread to them, but Brodie wouldn't go for that. The animal lover in him insisted on hand feeding to geese, which absolutely terrified the geese. It didn't take long for Brodie to chase every last goose into the pond.

Bike Rides

Today was an absolutely beautiful day, it actually got up to 75 degrees. I was so happy to get our bike out, we went on our first bike ride of the year. Brodie was happy to see the bike too. As soon as I got the bike out, Brodie grabbed his helmet and couldn't wait to get on. We went on about a two mile ride and ended up a Nana and Da's. Tiff had brought up the girls, so all the kids were there. Brodie loves playing with his cousin, especially his Dulaney or "Dananie" as he calls her.

Two Years

Today was mine and Joe's two year wedding anniversary. We had a great day, Joe didn't ride today so we got to spend the whole day together. We decided to go down to the Wilmington Water Front. Brodie was so happy to be outside, when he ran on the boardwalk it made a really loud sound and he thought he was so cool. Joe also got Brodie a skateboard today, because we didn't want him to feel left out when we gave each other presents.

My little Gymnist

Brodie has been going to gymnastics twice a week for three weeks now, he loves it. Today, he did a somersault all by himself. Usually he get it position and lifts one leg for me to push him over, but today he decided not to wait. Brodie's favorite thing in the gym is the balance beam. He has always had a lot of balance and he loves to show off on the beam. While the other kids in the class seem to show a healthy fear of the beam, my crazy kid climbs on it all by himself and trys to run on it and jump off the end. Our instructor loves to put him on it, she gets this crazy look in her eyes like she is she sees Olympic gold in his future. I however just get a sick feeling as i am seeing lots of trips to the E.R. and casts and bruises in my future. I guess that is the life the mother of a dare devil can expect.
