Saratoga living

Well now that we are all settled in here in Saratoga, I thought I would show you what an average day is like with us here.
                                                            Our trailer site
First thing we do when we wake up is let Max out, while Brodie starts requesting his breakfast menu.  Normally my kids are not big eaters in the morning but something about camping makes Brodie eat like a pig here.
After breakfast we take Max on a mile and a half walk in the woods. The boys have become famous around here because of their truck.  They drive the the whole walk.

As soon as the walk is done, Brodie and Luke can't wait to put Max in the trailer and play with their friend.  Right next door to us is three kids and they play non stop together.

Around noon I have to tell the kids to come in for lunch and we get ready for the races.  Saratoga is the most beautiful track. It's like going to the classiest fair everyday. The atmosphere is so neat there, people just love horse racing around here.
The paddock
The jocks room

And the grandstand

After the races we get dinner and come back home to end the night with a camp fire

It ends up being a pretty full day, but the kids are having a blast.

Fireworks and Waterslides

This year for the 4th of July we had a nice evening and firework show at home.  Once Joe realized that fireworks are legal in Kentucky, he started stock piling.  It turned out to be a great evening, and I have already been warned that next years will be even bigger.  We also took the boys to Great Wolf Lodge this weekend and they had a blast.

Brodie and Luke loved waving around sparklers

watching the fireworks get set up

Brodie helping Joe set up
After a long night of firework, which Max enjoyed with us.  They both passed out
Our Wolf Den suite at Great Wolf

They had a costume shop, Joe said they could pick out what ever they wanted, Brodie chose a Knight and Luke chose a dragon

He may not breath fire, but his eyes shoot daggers
The indoor water park at Great Wolf
One happy little boy to get to splash around all day
Brodie was really fearless this trip

Lukes favorite thing to do there was push Brodie around on the tube

His reaction when I told him he couldn't drink the water

Brodie went down all the water slides.  Even the big ones in a double tube with me and Joe
Our little garden six weeks ago
and now growing like crazy
I picked these four just last night
needless to say, I am mastering making fried zucchini
On a side note Luke has decided that it is time to start potty training
He wants to be like Brodie so bad
apparently he thinks this is the way to do it
I am proud to report and our first day resulted in six pees and two poops.  He is only 22 months, I think he might actually be in underwear by his 2nd birthday
