I Ride

Brodie and I were in Ocala all last week. We had so much fun there, and did so much work. Brit is in Ocala for a short while before she goes back to Tampa, so dad decided it was a good time to break all the babies. We worked all day long, and Brodie played all day long. I think that Brodie tired to ride everything on the farm, he rode horses, dogs, tire swings, moving mats, little spiderman four wheelers, golf cart.... if it moved he tried to ride it. He would just walk around spot something moving and say, "I ride that!".
Brodie was so happy everytime I got off a horse
Brit shoeing

Walking up to the track, it is so peaceful on the farm that it doesn't even feel like work
Me and Brit galloping

walking back to the barn after training
Brit has broke all the babies this year, here she is bellying up on a baby
working with them in the stalls
Brodie watching auntie Brit ride a baby in the round pen
Once they went good in the round pen we took them out to a field
Brodie helping Poppie keep auntie safe

Brodie took his outriding job very seriously
Brit and mayham
While I was there Brit got to take the first baby to the track, she went great. Brit is doing a really good job with the babies
Brodie mixed up all of Poppies horseshoes
waiting to ride the Polaris with the dogs
While we were on the track Brodie helped Maam'a clean stalls
He is so proud of himself when he thinks that he is helping
Riding his tire swing on the walking machine
Riding stall mats as Poppie tried to move them
I think his favorite part of the day is getting to drive during feed time
Cody is Brodie's best friend on the farm
Brodie even got to sit on his first race horse. He was so proud of himself, he knew it was different than riding his pony
Everyday while babies were getting worked with in the stall Brodie demanded to ride his pony. He never wants to get off, so I thought that if I let Phantrick gallop in the field with Brodie and I he would want off. But that back fired. Brodie just got a hysterical laugh and said "I like that". After that all of his other toys were just a little too slow.
I have never seen a kid play as hard, or go as strong as this kid does on the farm
